New Orleans -- Late yesterday evening eleven adults and two children are found murdered in a south-central neighborhood apartment. The bodies were discovered by pizza delivery proffessional Chad Earl. Before he was led away by police for further questioning, Earl managed to make a statement to an associated press member. The man described the apartment as covered in blood and the bodies all having their throats slit. Earl also described black handprints and other strange symbols on the floor and walls. "I've never seen anything like this before in my life." he said. "It was different than on the trid...and the smell!" Knight Errant security, who holds the contract for New Orleans, stated that they are following up numerous leads at the moment, and any information that citizens feel might be connected should be reported at once. The block where the discovery was made has been sealed off since late last night, and KE officials are guarding the perimeter. An officer on duty at the scene today declined to speculate on when the area would be open again.
Albuquerque, Pueblo Corporate Council -- Stocks dipped lower at the end of trading today on the PCX on news that the nation of Tsimshian had threatened to withdraw its embassy from the Salish Shidhe nation. The exchange was down 50 points on light trading.
Amazonia -- Search parties are still out today on the fourth day of the hunt for reknowned parabiologist Richard Patterson. Patterson, who has to date authored four seminal volumes on the subject of awakened creatures from around the world, is feared lost and possible dead. Patterson entered the jungle from the remains of the old city of Rio Branco. Like most of the pre-awakening cities, Branco has been all but abandoned by the awakened governing the countr. The citizens of Rio Branco were offering several modern services in the city's core and Patterson was reported to be using the area as a base camp. He apparently entered the jungle looking for the mythical Sangre Del Diablo tree, reknowned in South American legend. The members of his camp along with authorities in the area have not given up hope yet of finding the researcher.
