Firefox 1.0 has been released. I highly recommend it. If you are currently using Internet Explorer I recommend switching right now! Firefox is more secure, more standards compliant, and has more features. All for the low price of free!
For those who aren't familiar with it, Firefox is a child of the very powerful Mozilla. Firefox has been optimized for speed and small size while retaining the power of Mozilla. It's far more secure than Internet Explorer. The interface is even more polished than Mozilla's (For example, it still blocks popups like Mozilla, but it optionally puts a bar at the top of the page that tells you what it did and offering to open the popups if you need them). If you're sick of ads, try the powerful Adblock extension.
