Witch Quest
Witch Quest is a 1991 Japanese tabletop role-playing game from Adventure Planning Service. Players portray a group of witches and their cat familiars. It has a distinctly Kiki's Delivery service vibe. In 1995, it was released as a set of free text files.
Want enough to play? You'll want the following:
- Witch Quest Book II PDF - This is all of the rules you need, translated into English.
- Text-Based Tarot Cards (PDF) - A printable copy of the witch tarot used in the game.
Other links:
- Wilper has an alternate set of witch tarot cards.
- Witch-Quest-UTF8-zip (143 kB) - The original 1995 Japanese text. For convenience, this has been converted to UTF-8 and compressed with zip; this file will Just Work for most people.
- wq.lzh (139 Kb) - The original 1995 Japanese text in its original form. The file is compressed with LHA and the text is encoded in Shift-JIS. If that doesn't mean anything to you, you probably don't want this file. Try "Witch-Quest-UTF8.zip" above.
