Adventures
2011-06-17: Brandi (H1), Red (F1), Deri (M1): Matilda Schmitt asks the group to look for the Mourning Mother in the old silver mine. Matilda's son Yale is missing, and she believes the Mourning Mother may have him. On the way to the mine, the group tangles with and defeats a pair of bugbears. In the mine itself they deal with boars, and giant centipedes. Some unmined silver is found.
2011-06-24: Brandi (H1), Clarion (E1), Brick (D1), and Bartholemew (C1), 3 hired men at arms: The group continues. More unmined silver is found. Two of the hired men at arms are slain by poisonous bites from giant centipedes. The group also fights skeletons and a number of kobolds. A shrine with a white statue is found. Yale is sleeping at its base. The group retreats back to Belloc's Folly.
2011-07-15: Brandi (H1), Deri (M1), Clarion (E1), Dyuim (C1), Fred (H1), and Red (F1). An elf shows the party a large golden statue and sells them the location of another like it; deep inside a keep a day's travel east. The party heads there, burns out an orc encampment in an old keep building, then into the main tower.
2011-08-05?: Unknown. The party explores the upper levels of the main tower.
2011-09-16: Brandi (H1), Clarion (E1), Dyuim (C1), Fred (H1), and Red (F1). The group continues their exploration of the upper reaches of the tower. They encounter several traps, losing a hireling to one.
2011-09-23: Brandi (H1), Clarion (E1), Dyuim (C1), Fred (H1), and Red (F1). The group finishes exploring the upper reaches of the tower, breaching the goblin's lair and exterminating all but one charmed one. They head back to Belloc's Folly, then back into the Empire to sell some of their acquisitions. Then back to the tower, where they discover an orc encampment at the base and that the barricade inside has been dismantled.
2011-10-21: Brandi (H1), Fred (H1), Red (F1), Deri (M1), Mira (F1). Revisiting the upper stories, the group fights several giant cockroaches and a large party of orcs. The fight against the orcs is victorious, but Red is slain. The group retreats to town to recover and adds Mira to the party. Once more back to the tower. They peacefully deal with some orcs, then head downward. beyond the barrier is an area with octagonal rooms, shiny walls, odd doorways, and more giant cockroaches.
2011-11-04: Brandi (H1), Clarion (E1), Dyuim (C1), Fred (H1), Mira (F1), Deri (M1). Continue to explore the octagonal roomed area, the party tangles with more giant cockroaches, eventually finding and slaying a giant cockroach queen. Dyuim is slain in the battle. They find a dead adventurer partially embedded in the floor, a pool of clean water, and a grated hole in the floor.
2011-12-9: Brandi (H1), Clarion (E1), Mira (F1) Akas, (F1). Using a wood and rope ladder, the party descends 50 or so feet to another level. There they find a room full of statues of robed people. A wand and a scroll held by the statues prove to be removable, but removing the orb causes skeletons to fall out of the ceiling and attack.
2011-12-15: Unknown players. On behalf of the town's knight, the party negotiates a truce between an orc warband at the base of the tower and the Empire. The orcs will not attack anyone wearing the Empire's colors. On their way back the party easily bests a group of goblins trying to charge a toll.
2012-2-3: Eva, Ben, Viv, Mark, Jeff. The party returns to the room of statues, using the wand to transmute one of the statues to flesh. The female elf thus freed releases a human male. The two are members of a circle, turned to stone in anticipation of being needed to stop a demon that is currently sealed. They set to the task of re-stoning themselves, doing work back in the empire. They ask the party to fetch an unusual stone they need from a nearby barrow.
